For your consideration, a fabulous circa 1970’s hammered and welded copper and brass cuff bracelet. This unsigned piece, most certainly of Northern California origin, measures approximately 3” in diameter and 2 ½” wide. The bracelet is noteworthy for its organic free form aesthetics indicative of the experimental work created during the “back to the land” era of the 1950’s -1970’s. The piece was acquired on the Northern California coastal town of Mendocino, an area noted for its long history of local and visiting artists producing paintings, pottery, turned wood, and jewelry art (including Emmy Lou Packard, Doug Ayers, William Theophilos Brown, and others). A highly collectable and dramatic vintage piece.
