For your consideration, an stunning sommerso aventurine Murano glass bowl, attributed to Seguso, featuring clear, white and blue sommerso glass. The blues are in shades of cloud and powered blue, very pastel and modernist in feeling, and the gold aventurine specks are arranged in a both a mist and quilted patterns. The bowl's polymorphic free form design has a stylish animated feeling, simultaneously elegant and vital in feeling. This fine example of mid-century Italian glass measures approximately 6 ¼" in length, 2 3/8" tall, and weighs over 2 lbs. The work, in excellent condition with no chips or damage, is identified with its original "Made in Italy" and the partial numbers "95/II". Most probably circa 1960-1969, the piece looks wonderful in a mid-century environment from boudoir to credenza!
