For your consideration, a woodcut print by Utagawa Yoshikazu (1797 - 1868) showing a cutaway view of an American steamship with group of passengers inspecting ships workings below deck, and activities on deck. This circa 1861 woodblock-printed ink and color on paper work is of the Late Edo period, circa 1861 (Edo period, 1615-1868). In good vintage condition with no tears; some minor foxing and superficial creases. The print measures 37.2cm x 25.6cm and is in a vintage linen matted 55cm x 43cm frame. Examples of the same work from the same edition are represented in the Library of Congress, and as well as in the collections of other institutions.
