For your consideration, a fine bronze bust of a child’s head created by the lost wax process. The sculpture displays fine details and animated facial features, and though most probably unsigned, though there is a possibility that there may be a signature or other information under areas of wax or resin residue found in the sculpture’s interior. The bronze bust measures 9” tall, 6 ¾” x 5 ¾” wide, with a 7” x 5” x 2” marble base (total height on base 11” tall). This bust weighs 19 lbs., with a total weight of 27 lbs. when mounted on its base and is excellent condition, with a chip to the base. A highly evocative and sophisticated work, most probably circa 1970’s. Provenance: San Francisco Bay Area.
