Very Pouty XI Kestner with gorgeous delicate face. No cracks, restorations to bisque. If you are looking for "the one" to add to your collection, this may be that one! 16" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, brush-stroked brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, wheat blonde human hair over plaster pate which looks to be original (some loss to hair), composition and wooden eight-loose-ball jointed body with age appropriate wear (see photos). Marks: XI. Comments: Kestner, circa 1880. Desirable model with lovely gentle expression, original early body and body finish, beautiful antique costume. One small brown spot on back of costume. Small rub to left check with 2 firing spots (shown in photos) Layers of beautiful undergarments. Bonnet new, but appropriate. Absolutely fabulous cabinet doll!
