This rare bowl is part of an important 1950 series by Archimede Seguso using ribbed coral glass with applications covered in gold leaf. The forms from the series are classic and the pieces have a luxurious look. This piece has an especially elaborate leaf application which makes it a stand out example. It is in excellent condition with only one issue; I don't know if it occurred in the annealing process or after manufacture, but the large leaf has a clean, straight crack on it's stem(it cannot be felt and is not visually distracting). There is no glass loss. Two old Archimede Seguso labels are attached.
