Barovier Seguso Ferro was founded in 1933 as a collaboration including two master glassmakers Flavio Poli and Alfredo Barbini, the company became Seguso Vetri d'Arte in 1937. This elephant in coral glass and gold leaf is modeled with a lot of energy. The best figures show some emotion and this beast is no exception. This is a rare piece and the coral glass makes it especially desirable. The condition is good although there is minor glass loss off the tip of one tusk (not noticeable unless you are really close) and the tail has some sharpness on the tip (again, just noticeable by touch).
18cm H., 14cm L.
