Mario Badioli started creating glass in the 1960s and is best known for his Picasso series of heads. The transparency of glass works well for him in terms of a Cubist artist's efforts to present a variety of angles at once, and the colours are dynamic. This is a large and attention grabbing three dimensional piece with no cracks, scratches (except on the bottom) or fleabites.
