Vittorio Zecchin's Soffiati glass was central to transforming early 20th century Murano glass from overly ornate to classic modern interpretations of antique forms. His approach makes his soffiati pieces timeless and able to sit well in any decor. This piece is from the mid 1920s and would have been produced by Venini or MVM Cappelin. The lightweight, transparent amber is nicely detailed and shows evidence of a lot of care taken to make the piece. This is a very fine piece in excellent condition.
