Eye catching huge Egyptian revival scarab pendant was made in 1920's
when people were obsessed with everything ancient Egyptian
after discovery of the tomb of King Tutankhamun.
The pendant is masterfully crafted of large pressed glass.
Centrally located very detailed large scarab with spread wings
and ancient Egyptian symbols measures 1 3/4" X 1 5/16".
The central scarab is surrounded with halo of 10 pressed glass smaller scarabs,
5/8" X 3/8" each.
The whole pendant measures 2 7/8" X 2 3/8".
The pendant is assembled on custom made brushed solid silver metal.
The pendant comes with nice fancy link sterling chain
with shepherd hook clasp stamped 925.
The chain is 20" long.
Excellent antique condition.
