Collectable Neiger Bros Egyptian revival Gablonz glass
from 1920's Czechoslovakia.
Discovery of Tutankhamun tomb in 1922 sparkled fashion rush
of everything Egyptian.
Neiger Bros were prominent designers in Gablonz area in Czechoslovakia,
center of art glass making.
They quickly started making Egyptian revival jewelry pieces
which are still highly praised.
Our necklace is easily recognizable Niger Bros article.
The beads are of green color with yellow enamel lines
that makes the beads look just unearthed.
The necklace is 27 1/2" around neck with 5 3/4" drop.
2" X 1 1/4" bottom tablet is double sided depicting
a Pharaoh with fan, a servant's kneeling figure and a scarab.
There is another tablet with Pharaoh, connecting the necklace and the drop,
1 1/8" X 5/8".
There are also 2 mummies, 1 7/16" X 9/16", 4 scarabs, 4 elongated beads,
and smaller enamel and round beads.
All beads are hand made from Gablonz Czech glass.
The beads are strung on original knotted thread.
Excellent antique condition commensurate with age.
