The stick pin is designed as a snake coiled around
a gorgeous Mississippi river pearl.
Snakes inspired jewelry makers since Adam and Eve.
In ancient Egypt snakes represented royalty and deity
and were attributes of Pharaohs.
Every people and country in all times
had their own sacred meaning in snakes.
Snakes received the highest level of adoration in Art Nouveau jewelry
which in general was inspired by naturalistic and animal motifs.
The top of snake’s head is embellished
with sparkling old European cut diamond.
The pin head measures approx. 5/8” X 5/16” X 5//16”
