Eye catching Victorian enamel gold earrings C. 1880 -1890s.
2-part earrings of sophisticated design have scrolled top
with royal blue champleve enamel.
The dangles are wrought in horse shoe shape with royal blue champleve enamel,
gold leaves on the top, grated center with granulation elements,
and 3 natural pearl drops.
The earrings are 1 3/4” long, 5/8” wide.
The dangles are 1 3/16” long.
Weight is 9.6 grams.
The earrings are hallmarked 14K on the screw back clasp.
There is one superficial chip on the enamel
in the corner of the top of one of the earrings.
The chip does not penetrate the whole enamel layer
and visible only in close examination with loupe.
Very good antique condition.
