Very rare Frank Hess' masterpiece turquoise art glass necklace
from 40's designed for Miriam Haskell.
The necklace is one of easily recognizable Frank Hess' works.
Turquoise glass beads which are suspended from gilded chain
on brass wire are forming tight long cluster
along the whole length of the necklace.
The front of the necklace starts with larger beads
that gradually reduce in size towards the ends of the necklace.
The design is enhanced with flower-like arrangements
With pinkish translucent glass beads,
turquoise bead and brass petals in the center,
and the same flowers with opposite color scheme.
Turquoise beads are from 7/16” to 3/16”.
The necklace closes with filigree brass push-in clasp.
The necklace is 16 1/2” long.
It is heavy 127 grams.
Wires on which beads are suspended covered with antique patina.
Very good vintage condition.
