Ancient Etruscan look of these earrings is eye catching.
They were made in Victorian period, some time between 1860 and 1900.
Aesthetic movement was very popular during this time
with people obsessed with ancient artifacts.
Masterfully crafted brushed yellow gold over rose gold dangles
embellished with Etruscan style granulation.
A swivel between the tops and the bottoms of the earrings
provide nice swinging for the dangles.
The tops are adorned with pearls set in rose gold.
The clasps are rose gold shepherd hooks with latches.
They are attached to the tops with tubular hinge
making them very convenient to put them on and off.
The earrings are approx, 1 1/8" long, 1/2" wide.
The earrings are not hallmarked, tested 14K gold.
Total weight is 5.5 grams.
