An interesting pair of Aluminum opera glasses made on occupied Japan in the mid 20th century.
They are constructed from aluminium with repousee panels incorporating a design of waves, flowers and leaves on the outer barrels. The inner barrels have a polished chromed finish.
The optics are clean and scratch free with good, smooth, sharp focussing. The focus wheel in the centre bridge opens the glasses to full length to adjust the focus.
The optics are in good order and could be used at the opera, etc. The focus function works perfectly, with all original parts intact.
