A lovely cased pair of Victorian opera glasses in brass with inlaid panels in silvery white mother of pearl.
CONDITION: There is no damage to the brass or mother of pearl. The metalwork is a little scuffed in places, but generally retains its original finish.

A lovely pair of Victorian opera glasses. They are constructed from brass with white mother of pearl panels on the outer barrels. Mother-of-Pearl is in shaped sections around the barrels of the glasses.
The optics are clean and scratch free with good, smooth, sharp focussing.
The optics are in good order and could be used at the opera, etc. The focus function works perfectly, all original parts intact.
Case in worn but usable condition snaps shut and has dark brown silk lining.
