Here is a classic Japanese hair comb in wood with applied lacquer and decorative inlay in mother of pearl. It has an attractive gilded design of leaves. The comb or kushi is the traditional rectangular shape with a curved back.
The two hair pins or kanzashi are of celluloid faux tortoiseshell made in a familiar type.
