This is a face to die for, just too sweet!!! This baby was made to export by the German Firm, Simon &Halbig for the the German Firm, Kammer &Halbig, circa 1920's. She is approx. 11" tall, jointed composition body, blue sleep eyes and incised on the back of the neck " K star R Simon & Halbig Germany #126". Her composition baby body is well made and with weight but it shows wear- both thumbs are missing, lots of chipping around one leg joint and then just basic wear- the body has not been repainted but someone has touched up some chips. Her face has beautiful coloring and nicely painted. There is a short hairline on the side of the crown, otherwise, the bisque is good. She is dressed in a sweet, well made, light pink dress- it is in good shape- no fading, stains, odors or tears. She has an old, human hair wig, perhaps her original. This baby books in the black book by Jan Foulke's for $1,000.00- due to her problems and because I bought her at a good price she is priced very reasonably. Any questions please e- mail. Thank you for your interest!
