What a fabulous face!!!! This baby was on display at The Worthington Historical Society with at least an 100 more antique babies but she was the one everyone noticed and liked!!! She is so very interesting! He was made in Germany by The Kammer & Reinhardt Company, circa 1909. This baby is approx. 15" long, incised on back of neck"4", solid dome bisque head and on an old, bent, limb, baby body. Her bisque is good- no chips, breaks or cracks. Her face is beautifully hand painted with outstanding molding. There is a tiny pen mark below her lip. The hair has been nicely painted with many single strokes. The body is a good, old, German, composition body with all the original toes and fingers. It has no repairs but it has been professionally repainted. It is tightly strung. She has a old baby gown that is in good shape- no odors, stain or tears. Any questions please e-mail. Thank you for your interest!
