You don't see this often, a solid dome #151. This sweet baby is approx. 14" long, circa 1915, German, grey- blue glass eyes, open mouth with two baby teeth, sweet hand painted face with great coloring, hand painted single stroke hair and on a composition body. The head is in good shape- no chips, breaks, cracks or rubs. There is a pin point dark spot by one eye - the other eye a very faint dot- I almost don't want to call it because it is not noticeable to me but maybe to you. Her eyes are set and just beautiful- the color is to die for! She has a sweet, happy, face- nicely molded open mouth and tongue. She is incised on the back of the neck "151 4". She is on a really nice, heavy, bent limb, baby body. The body has great detail in the molding. It is in good shape- no repainted and all the original toes and fingers. She is dressed in a very nice, velvet romper. It is free from stains, odor, tears or fading. Her stringing is good- nice and tight. Any questions please e- mail. Thank you for your interest.
