Early 1900's Kley & Hahn shoulder head doll. 12" tall. Beautiful bisque head, blue-grey glass eyes, thick painted eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes, open mouth with four teeth, and dimpled chin. Blonde hair wig styled in a up-do. Head and face are in great condition. Back of the head is incised with Ruth which was one of the marks used by Kley & Hahn for their "Special" mold dolls.
Leather and composition jointed kid body in great condition. All joints fully functioning and leather looks clean and intact. right arm minor repair - very well preserved body for her age. Bisque hands left hand looks a little damage may just be manufacturing flaw.
Doll is wearing her original eyelet dress it is white linen with pink embroidered rose, and pearlized buttons. The dress and under garments have a lot of detail. Antique white pantaloons and cotton underdress, white socks, and pretty shoes. Her original straw hat is adorned with flowers
