These two LATE 18 CENTURY Creche Santo's are in a state of Reverence at The Cross. They are dressed in silk and cotton period clothing with matalic embroidery, stationed at the cross on a beautful gilt original pedestal. Possibly San Antonio is holding a metal plaque that reads TIME DATE TE ILLI DEUM ONO ET REM, WHICH IS A PRAISING TO GOD.
The measurment on the male Santo is 23.5 inches and the female Santo is approximately 21.5 inces. the gilded pedetal measures approximately 18x9x3.5 inches and The Cross is 19x10 inhes. This early Santo Scene is a collectors dream find.
