Early 1900's Kley & Hahn shoulder head doll. 12" tall. Beautiful bisque head, brown glass eyes, thick painted eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes, open mouth with four teeth, and dimpled chin. Blonde long hair wig styled in a nice half updo. Head and face are in great condition. Back of the head is incised with Special which was one of the marks used by Kley & Hahn for their "Special" mold dolls.
Leather and composition jointed kid body in great condition. All joints fully functioning and leather looks clean and intact - very well preserved body for her age. Bisque hands right hand looks a little damage may just be manufacturing flaw.
Doll in her original dress it is aqua silk with lace. The dress and under garments have a lot of detail. Antique white pantaloons and cotton underskirt, black socks, and pretty shoes.
