Here is a very exquisite tea serving set made by Pairpoint-New Bedford Mass. After much research, I found this set to be from 1850-1899 era-Very Victorian. The items are quadruple silver plate and it has a most unusual and striking design. There is some slight wear as can be expected from a piece so old- still so beautiful! As most of you know-Pairpoint was a very high end company that not only made silver items but were also known for there ornate lamps. The tea set consists of a lovely fluted edge tray- a sweet little spooner-sugar bowl with lid- creamer and a gorgeous tall and exquisite tea server. The teapot stands at 9 1/2" tall-the tray is 13" by 12 3/4". The Pairpoint logo-info is on the under side of the set. Very stylish for the times and in great condition. This set will need a soft polish as I do not polish silver items because most of my customers prefer to use their own products. I have seen only one other set like this one at another sight with the tea pot lid missing and they were asking well over my asking price. This set is a beauty and it looks amazing on any table!
