Here is an exquisite Mary Gregory Style hand-blown Bohemian ribbed Green Glass vase from the 19th century. This outstanding piece of green art glass is intricately enamel painted white on white, depicting a young maiden gathering flowers in a basket. She is wearing a flowing white dress and a charming bonnet from the era. The rim is a faded gold due to age and there is a pontil mark on the bottom of the vase. The sides of the vase are adorned with applied crimped clear scalloped glass that gives a lacy affect. The bottom of the vase flares out in a rippled bulbous style with a generous glass base and there are bubbles from being hand-blown. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks or repairs, measuring 9 3/4" tall x 3" opening at the top x 3 1/4" wide neck x 5" wide at the bulbous x 4" diameter base. This outstanding vase would make an exquisite addition to any Mary Gregory Style collection or would make an elegant addition to any setting. Thank you for visiting our shop.
