Extraordinary artistry and superb attention to detail. This Colonial spoon rack was part of a collection of Colonial and Shaker items, most of which were created by Chestnut Hill Studio, Churchville, New York. The company was started in 1947 by Reta Johnson and her husband, Arthur. It produced some of the finest doll house miniatures of the mid 20th century.
The rack has a storage drawer ad comes with five spoons. Not signed but the wood is like that used with several CHS items; the spoons are a soft white metal and bend easily. Rack is in excellent condition spoons have some bending. Measures about 1 3/8 inches x 2 1/4 inches and is 3/4 inch deep.
