Beautifully woven and a fine example of 19th century textiles. Made from a length of red and white check home, found in Pennsylvania. Originally, used as a table cloth, at some point the check fabric was stitched to a piece of natural color home spun linen and formed as a cushion or pillow cover. Can be secured with three covered buttons, hand made button holes. Measures around 30 in. x 30 in., Clean, light fade, has a light stain near one edge.
