Introduced by Johnny Gruelle in the early 20th century, Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy were, and still are, loved by children everywhere. These classic cloth dolls come fully clothed and were made by the Knickerbocker company around 1960-1968. Both dolls have the Knickerbocker heart on their torso, cloth tags sewn on their clothes and each has a paper tag. Not a matched pair. Raggedy Ann was made in Taiwan; Andy was made in Japan. Andy has his original hat but yarn hair at forehead needs a touch of glue. Clothes and Ann's stockings faded, light soiling. Even so these are as charming and sweet as the day they were made.
