This is a large for an older watch of this vintage (1950's), extremely beautiful, simple and elegant and I think the pictures say it all. This watch can be handed down from one generation to the next ad infinity, if properly cared for. Le Coultre's are not great sport watches or even great everyday watches; they don't handle being dropped or mis-handled very well, but they are very beautiful, very well made and make terrific dress watches. Treated with a reasonable degree of care, they should last several lifetimes or more.
