His parents owned the world famous Kassel Hotel. But rather than enter the family business he enrolled in the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris where he studing for eight years under Yves Braye. The artist’s work was held in the collections of many of his contemporary luminaries including Merle Oberon, Charlton Heston, William Wyler, Esther Williams, Princess Paula de Liege, Peter Ustinov, Prince Moulay Abdoula, Mrs. John Winslow, Contessa B'Miani, among others .
