Old 940 sterling silver repousse clamper bracelet that was hand made in Mexico circa 1948. Marked with a stylized “MS” at the center of a circle with “Mexico Taxco” around the border, additional marked “Sterl 940”. The stylized 'MS' is the mark of a well documented yet mystery Taxco master silversmith who signed his or her pieces with that mark. The mark is listed in Bille Hougart's new (2013) "Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" on page 210. Measures 2.85” height and 2.45” x 2.25” inside dimension. Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
