Late 19th early 20th century. Unusual miniature inlaid mahogany knife urn opening to reveal a clock concealed in the top and an inkwell with gilt bronze lid. Clock face is old and reads “Wilke, Cupar, Fife”. Works are a newer replacement. Measures about 8.5in height x 3.5in diameter. Condition: Chip to bottom corner of base, small chip and crack to wood at point where hinge stresses it, missing several small screws to retaining ring around clock face.
