John Cadel (American, 1905-1977) “The Parade” gouache painting on paper, circa 1950’s. Signed, titled verso. Framed in wood frame, matted under glass. Measures 17in x 16in framed and 9in x 6.75in image only. Condition: Painting in excellent condition, frame has a few minor nicks noticeable under scrutiny. A painter, lithographer, and drawing specialist, John Cadel was born in Fanna, Italy and settled in Chicago, Illinois where he exhibited at the Art Institute from 1940 to 1942.
