Charming 19th century beveled glass mirror in a finely carved frame, The crest depicting a pair of hand carved Putti or Cherubs, draped in flowing cloth and holding a laurel wreath between them. Outer edge of frame has deeply carved laurel pattern lower portion of frame features acanthus leaf floral swag. Circa second half 19th century most likely French. Measures 67in height x 44in width x 4in depth. Condition: wood shrinkage from age top right corner leaves a small gap, shrinkage crack bottom center. Structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing all the same.
