Jim Prindiville “Cliff Dwelling” abstracted acrylic painting on canvas. Signed lower right. Titled verso. Framed in wood frame. Measures 48in x 40in framed and 46in x 38in image only. Condition: Painting in excellent condition, frame has piece cracked off top left noticeable under scrutiny. Bio: Prindiville studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, The American Academy of Art and the Illinois Institute of Design. First visiting in 1968, he moved with his family to Arizona in 1984, and now resides in Cave Creek. Signature member of the prestigious American Watercolor Society in NYC, an Honorary Lifetime Member of the Arizona Watercolor Association. Receiving over 100 honors and distinctions for his work including: John Ernst Award, American Watercolor Society; Artists Guild of Chicago, Best of Show; Southwest Festival, Indio, CA, First Prize in Acrylic. Permanent collections include: Illinois State Museum, University of Wyoming, FMC Corporation, AT&T, United States Air Force, Scottsdale Insurance Co., and other numerous and private collections. He has had solo exhibitions with galleries in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, been featured in Southwest Art and Art Of The West Magazines, and is included in Who's Who In American Art.
