Hand painted porcelain plaque depicting a woman with large walking stick. Signed lower right “Helen G. McKay” and having an old label on the back for “Ben Kabatznick, 1299 Beacon St. Brookline, Mass.” Kabatznick is identified as an art dealer in a 1922 news article and a Helen G. McKay was born in 1878 in Essex Mass. Measures 13in x 7in framed in wood frame and 11.5in x 5.5in image only. Condition: faint scratch about ¼” long on left foreman, noticeable under scrutiny, otherwise excellent.
