Albert Alfredson (American 1907-1977), untitled, circa 1950, Impressionist still life oil painting on artists board, signed lower right. Framed in period wood frame. Alfredson was born in Chicago, studied at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts, Art Institute of Chicago, the Palette and Chisel Academy and the private studio of Wellington J Reynolds. He was a member of the of the Chicago Palette and Chisel Club hold the office of president in 1962, 1963, and 1964. He was also a member of the Municipal Art League of Chicago holding the position of artistic director of the league. Member of the Brown County Arts Guild gallery and the Brownsville Texas Art League the American Artists Professional League. Measures 25in x 19in framed and 19in x 12in image only. Condition: Painting is in excellent vintage condition, frame has minor nick and chips.
