Lillian Desow-Fishbein (Illinois b. 1921, d. 2004) “X” , 1973, limited edition lithograph, depicting a portrait of a young young man with long hair and bushy mustache sitting pensively on a stool with photograph images of other young people in soldiers uniforms, as well as what look like draft resisters and Vietnamese civilians in distress. In pencil in the lower image, it is titled “X”, numbered 21 of 100, signed and dated “Deson-Fishbein ‘73”. Framed in a chrome metal frame under glass. Measures 22in x 19in framed and 20in x 15in image only. Condition: print in excellent condition, glass has a crack at that bottom edge about 2 thumbnails wide, minor scratches to frame.
