The Yellow Garage and Crowing Rooster Antiques present a rare early 19th century folk art food chopper. A beautiful patinated turned wood handle is attached securely to a likely forged steel blade with a distinctive heart shaped cut out. Overall condition is excellent with minor handle wear appropriate with age presented in our photos. The chopper stands 11” high and 5 3/8” wide at the base of the blade. This is an outstanding piece of antique kitchenware unique in sculptural form and aesthetically pleasing in its visual presentation.
