Yellow Garage Antiques dealer Willowgreen Antiques presents an original two part 19th century English tin lined copper pineapple culinary mould. Moulds like this one were very popular among the top chefs of the Victorian Era to enhance the presentation of their culinary creations. The mould exhibits a beautiful pineapple shape that is artistically crafted to create a stunning presentation. It is not hard to imagine a lavish dish molded in this impressive manner gracing a Victorian era banquet table. The exterior also exhibits a beautiful time enhanced copper patina, while the interior is tin lined and also shows an age appropriate patina. It has a hanging loop which is how it was probably stored when not being used. The bottom is stamped ENGLAND 344 with 31 underneath and the mould measures 8 1\2” X 6 1\2”. The mould is in excellent used condition and would display beautifully in any kitchen. The pictures provide the best description.
