Here is a stunning, tall and sleek Art Deco chrome cocktail shaker with red Bakelite handle dating to the 1940’s. It measures 13” high by 8” wide including the handle and is 4” in diameter at the base with all the original parts. The shaker is marked on the bottom Stainless Chrome and the outside is in very good vintage condition with one tiny ding and a couple of very light surface scratches that are consistent with age and use, hardly noticeable to the naked eye but being mentioned to be accurate. The inside of the shaker is in good clean condition with the Bakelite handle having one tiny chip near the bottom but is hardly noticeable. Lastly there is a 2” long area along the edge on the lid where the finish has worn off revealing a copper color underneath shown in the last picture hardly noticeable when the lid is on the shaker. The photos, showing reflections in the chrome are just that and not blemishes. This beautiful, rare, classic Art Deco cocktail shaker would make a great addition to anyone’s vintage chrome or barware collection.
