It measures 7 ¾” high without the handle and 15” high including the handle and is 5” wide across the top of the frame. This very fine Dresden soldered mesh purse has a gorgeous hand painted design pattern on both sides in red, black and green colors against a natural silver background. The beautifully articulated embossed frame is marked on the inside edge Whiting & Davis Co, Mesh Bags, Soldered Mesh. The delicate cascading fringe is all intact with no holes or missing links and the brass frame has a matte and shiny finish with a beautiful swirly design along the edges. There are no holes, rips or tears in the mesh and is securely attached to the frame at all points. The original lining is clean with no holes, rips, tears or stains. This original rare beauty is in excellent vintage condition and would make a great addition to anyone’s vintage evening purse collection.
