Here is a striking, sterling, Art Deco, rich, deep, red glass or rhinestone bracelet dating to the 1930’s. The stones are set in closed back settings, making it difficult to ascertain if these are glass or rhinestones. Under close inspection with a loupe, there appears to be some gold backing on the back edges of the stones which would indicate some type of foiling on the stones. This is probably why they are so brilliant in color and appear to be mirrored. It measures 7 ¼” long with each stone measuring 3/8” square, each prong set in a solid sterling frame and back. The brilliant faceted cut stones are originals and very sparkly. The bracelet is marked Sterling on the back of the double stone box clasp. This rare quality bracelet is all original and in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks to any of the stones. There is some age related patina on the sterling back of the bracelet, which we have not removed as some customers prefer it that way. It is consistent with age and use being mentioned to be accurate. This Art Deco bracelet would make a wonderful holiday gift for any special woman’s wardrobe or Deco jewelry collection.
