Daum Nancy Cabinet Vase - Toothpick. CIRCA: 1900

Daum Nancy acid cut-back miniature vase-toothpick. On this cabinet piece, in low relief are stylized "daisy-type" flower and foliage that are finely detailed in bright gold. The lip and the foot are both highlighted in matte gold. The floral arrangement foreground rests on a frosted "pebbled surface background" of a beautifully delicate emerald base color.

Signed Daum Nancy with the Cross of Lorraine in gold leaf on the ground polished base. There are several small factory bubble inclusions as can be seen in several of the Photographs. Age: CIRCA 1900.

Condition: Other than the noted factor bubble inclusions, virtually mint-exceptional for 100+ years.
