This pair of flapper era 1920s garters from Paris, France are unworn and still have the original hang tag from the venerable Au Printemps Department Store of Paris. The garters are made with a dusky shadow, or smoke, shade of blue velvet over elastic core with a pale misty rose pink faille backing. The garters are each decorated with two fabric roses of the pink faille backed by a cut bow of the blue velvet and pink faille.

Markings: Printed on the original string hang tag in front is AU PRINTEMPS, PARIS with a bowl of flowers in a circle with a horizontal line below which is printed the word RAYON. On the back is printed the following:

“Cette étiquette enlevée la merchandise ne pourra être ni reprise ni échangee”.

Roughly translated “If this (tag) is removed (you) will not be able to return or exchange (this item).

Condition: Unworn and still tacked together with the original tack stitch and the elastic is still viable.

Size: Laid flat they are 5” across without stretching.
