This lovely lucite handbag from the early 1950s is angular in shape, tapering to the lid from the base. The body of the purse is silver gray pearlized lucite. The thick clear lucite lid has reverse carved leaves and flowers in the center. The purse is closed by a brass-colored lift-up latch. Inside there is one compartment. The hinges and latch work perfectly but show some age-related wear. On the base, the purse has four clear circular feet. The curved double handles are in matching gray lucite. Approximately 6 3/8" wide at widest point. 5" tall without the handles; approx. 11 3/4" with handles.
