This is a lovely vintage Whiting and Davis ivory enameled mesh handbag. The handle is a translucent yellow plastic. It has a scalloped brass frame.There is not a lining in the purse and it is gold inside .
It has Whiting and Davis and Made in USA engraved on inside frame.
Overall this purse is in good condition.
There are scratches and small dark spots on the brass frame . Please see the pictures of the inside of the purse to check how it is fastened. It is a pretty purse. I believe this is from the early 40’s but that is not a guarantee. It measures 81/4 inch by 71/2. Inches. The handle adds 6 inches.
