If you have been looking for a very rare and beautiful parlor set for a special room in your doll house, this may be the one. It certainly will take center stage and be the conversation starter among "the dolls". It is made of a very delicate natural vine held together with very fine nails. No details have been omitted. The table has four legs, a lower cross brace with a center pediment, and a scalloped table top. The settee and two chairs are similarly made with curved backs and turned arms. How the vines cooperated with this endeavor is beyond our imagination. Most appropriate was the choice of the upholstery material - a regal burgundy velvet for the table top, settee, and chairs. They are backed with a neutral cotton fabric. This parlor set is the first time out and one like it may never be seen again. It is in excellent condition and may not have ever been displayed since its creation. Our Simon Halbig enjoys the ambiance of this set, but she is not available for sale at this time.
The approximate measurements are: table 2 3/4" X 3 1/2" X 2 1/2" high; settee 4" long X 1 3/4" deep X 3 1/2" high; chairs 2" X 1 3/4" deep X 3 1/2" high.
