This is a wonderful square neck 19th Century Peachblow Art Glass Floral Enameled Vase. Peachblow glass is a heat sensitive glass usually over white or a cream colored glass casing. It measures approximately 7 3/4 inches tall and 6 1/4 inches wide. Although this vase is unmarked, except for the number 14, we believe it was produced by the Thomas Webb and Sons Glass Company in England in the late 1800's. Webb and Sons were in production from 1875 to 1898 and produced many lovely pieces. The color is a lovely dark peachy pink with white casing inside. On the front are delicately hand painted enameled blue and white flowers with leaves.
This vase is in very good condition although there was gold around the top at one point but most of it is now gone. I had never noticed myself until I started taking pictures for the shop. I mention it only in an effort to be accurate with my description . We do our best to describe each piece as completely as possible.
This lovely vase will certainly be a very fine addition to any collection.
